One of the primary models for quantum computing involves constructing circuits from logical gates. It is possible to simplify circuits based on identities, however most compilers today focus on mapping circuits to specific quantum devices. This paper proposes QuEgg, a circuit optimizer constructed by reviewing the literature for known circuit identities.
