Wed, June 15, 2022 at 19:00–21:30 at The Backyard Kitchen & Tap

The W@PLDI dinner aims to connect women in the PLDI community, including researchers, developers, faculty, post-docs and students. It is intended to celebrate achievements, small and big, and provide a low-pressure atmosphere to foster building one’s support group.

In particular, we aim to:

  • Increase the feelings of community and belonging, especially among junior faculty, post-docs and students through positive interactions with peers and more established faculty
  • Establish new connections and collaborations
  • Create a culture of support, growth, and welcoming in the programming languages research community.

This will be the first W@PLDI networking dinner, which will be held on Wed, June 15, 2022 at 7PM at The Backyard Kitchen & Tap, 832 Garnet Avenue, San Diego, CA 92109 – which is a short stroll from the conference hotel.

You can sign up for the networking dinner when registering for PLDI.

The event is generously supported by Meta and Microsoft.
