Wed 15 Jun 2022 21:10 - 22:10 at Kon-Tiki - Keynote: Emery Berger

My research group has a long history of successful adoption of our research, both directly and indirectly, including among others, the industrial use of the Hoard allocator & incorporation of its algorithms into Mac OS X; the use of DieHard/er approaches in Windows; the adoption of BrowserFS; the adoption of the BLeak leak detection algorithm in the Android SDK; and the adoption of the Scalene Python profiler. This talk is about lessons learned, both negative and positive, and contains distilled approaches that we think are especially crucial.

Emery Berger is a Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the flagship campus of the UMass system. See his home page for more information.
